The Exchange Street Bridge over the Erie Canal in downtown Rochester, NY. The view looks south towards the Alling & Cory building. There is a pedestrian bridge to the left of the main lift bridge. The lift bridge began operating in 1898. It is the second bridge to cross the canal at this spot, replacing the smaller swing bridge originally located here.
