This is the first issue of The Voice. It features an article about the 80,000 people that marched in the National Recovery Act parade on Main Street in downtown Rochester, NY. This issue includes a “Foreword” that describes the vision and platform of The Voice. Another article describes the inequality and racism that the Black community faces on a national and local level.
