My dear Daughter
I have just received a very
nice letter from Elinor which pleases me very mutch
she takes your view of the house proposition
that Margaret ought to be consulted. she is going
to write to Margaret. I have received a letter
from [Chic?] in answer to one in which I informed
her of your views on the house question. she
says that M is very mutch pleased. it wil be
all right to write to M inviteing her up if she
dont accept she is pleased, that you considered her
in the arangement. I hope she wil accept the job
of loocking for a house is not one that I am
delighted with, and I am more than willing to
have help. we are haveing beautiful weather. I manage
to spend the time fairly wel. I play golf mornings
after noons walking out writeing and any old
thing that turns up. Mr Bristol expects to leave
about the 20th he was going to leave on the 14 but
the Hotels that he wrote to for reservations could not give
him any, so that they stay here longer With love
Wm G
