Nadia Paulino was born in 1979 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and moved to Rochester, New York, at the age of eight. She continues to live in the area with her family and works at Visions Federal Credit Union. 

In this interview, Nadia Paulino discusses moving to the United States and how there were no other Dominicans in her neighborhood growing up in Rochester, New York. She describes passing down traditions to her children, generational differences among her family, and visiting family living in the Dominican Republic. She also discusses her career and collaborating with the Ibero-American Action League, her experience being bilingual, and the diverse community of Latinos living in Rochester.
