Dear Mr. Eastman,
This is to
ask you to do something
I am sure will give you
pleasure because you are
interested in building;
and that will be a favor
to Mr. Ed Gordon and to
me. It is to visit this

house. When we built it,
I asked Mr. Gordon to make
it like the Alhambra and
it is only since it is done,
I can see what a feat it is
to adapt a Royal Seraglio
to a home for one maiden lady.
If you can come, I would like to
invite you for dinner with
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon. You have
so many engagements, I would
let you set the evening. Any
one except June 17th.
Very Truly Yours,
Kate Gleason
