Dear Kate;
We have your letter written from the
Hotel Astor. It would be interesting to find out
whether Bilgram is bidding direct or through
Fairbanks for the League Island machine.
It would seem like a good plan to drive this
officer and any of his subordinates down to the
Harrington Shop in a Packard. The man in
charge might want to have one of his men along.
About one of our demonstrators going down to Harrington’s.
It seems as though they would prefer to show the
machine operated by their own man. It would be
something of a reflection on their mechanical ability
to have a man go from here.
A strong point with the Government would be
that one of our operators would demonstrate the
machine to their entire satisfaction and show the
quality of work when the machine is received.
Enclosed please find two blank New York checks No

About the point that Mr Scott speaks of it will be
cleared up by our operator the first time he calls.

at the Bank.
Wishing you success
Yours
Jim.
