Dear Kate,-
Your telegram and
the letter that followed it was
received. We are very sorry that
Miss Rockfellar cant come. Jack
Battin wont be on the picnic
now, for he has to go with the
banjo blub on a trip.
All goes well with the arrangements
for the pincin, and it is too bad
that our efforts will not be witnessed
by more of Rochester.
Who is the dangerous admirer of Emmas?
You can tell me about it when you
arrive here.
Conrad and his fiancee are a well
balanced pair. He can talk for
two, and she will always admire
him as she does now.

Does he talk of that not far distant
date? He said it would be
sometime in September.
Well I will reserve the rest of
the gas for Saturday
Yours
Jim.
