Dear Kate;
Will you please send
me price and time of delivery
on one 36”x36”x8’ planer, with
two heads, F.O.B. cars Rochester.
Also send photo or circular.
This inquiry comes from A.S. Ide
& Son Springfield Ill.
Mr Ide wrote to Frank asking
for Wm Gleasons’ prices, but what
he means by this round about
way of getting them no one knows.
Frank is inclined to think that
his Father wants him to get
some experience ordering tools
from me,
[page 2]
and will perhaps allow him to
place the order for this one: Still
he is not sure that the firm even
want a planer.
Of course you want all the time
you can get on this machine, and
I will endeavor to obtain as much
as they will stand.
Yours
Jim
