A letter from Irene Conole to her parents. Irene tells her parents that her jaw has successfully healed and that she was able to get the wires taken off her teeth. She writes that she will have to have a tooth pulled in a few weeks because it is loose. Irene reports that she is very happy to be back at work but had to yell at several people in the Enlisted Men’s Club for violating the rules. She writes about the weather, a softball game, and a going away party.
