Letter, Irene Conole to her mother
A letter from Irene Conole to her mother. Irene sends a money order and asks her mother to send her black skirt and suit along with clothing sizes for her family.
16 July 1953
Dear Mom,
Here is the money order. If you haven’t
sent the black skirt wait and send it
along with the suit that is to be dyed. O.K.?
I wear the skirt in the fall.
You remember the sizes you sent me?
Well due to having no brains I brought
that letter, along with the others, home.
So would you send the sizes again?
Betty’s blouse & slip sizes
Henry’s skirt size
James shirt size
Your slip, dress & nightgown sizes
Dad’s shirt size
This is short eh?
Bye for now
Love and Kisses
Irene
P.S. Put the sizes on a separate piece of paper
