PLEASE NOTE: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS GRAPHIC CONTENT

An article about the events leading up to Irene Conole’s death. The author profiles Irene and her alleged murderer, Seaman Carl Strickland. It presents a dramatic version of Carl and Irene’s date, the discovery of Irene’s body, and Carl’s arrest. The article makes a big deal out Irene’s height, saying she is six feet, one inch tall when she is actually five feet, nine inches tall. The article does not appear to be entirely accurate.
