Article, “Meet a Wave”

A short biography of Irene Conole featured in the newspaper. She grew up in Middlesex and Rochester, N.Y. and attended Nazareth Academy High School. She worked as a solderer at Bausch and Lomb and later as an operator with the New York Telephone Company. She joined the Navy in 1952 and, at the time of writing, she was working as Master-At-Arms at Barrcaks 404 and was engaged to be married.
