Letter, Susan B. Anthony to Evangeline O’Connor
A letter from Susan B. Anthony to her friend and fellow women’s rights activist, Evangeline O’Connor. Anthony invites O’Connor to attend a meeting at her house to discuss the organization of a Rochester Council of Women, which would presumably bring together representatives from local women’s groups committed to a variety of issues such as suffrage, temperance, labor, and education.
